Global Perspective on The Future of Sourcing

Sourcing

Tossing over a bunch of resumes, making lot of cold calls and tracking down that perfect candidate are all a little too old school. Now sourcing is more proactive and much easier than it was before. With the use of social media tools and technologies and even social aggregators like LinkedIn Recruiter, Facebook Graph Search, Dice Open Web search interface, Entelo, Talent Bin the searchability and visibility for both recruiters as well as candidates have increased. Now anybody can find anyone easily.

In addition to your conventional ATS and online resume database, your social community adds an unprecedented human capital database. But why it is still so hard to uncover those hidden talents?  What makes a sourcer succeed? How can a sourcer/recruiter significantly reduce the time taken to recruit and increase quality of hire? All in all what is the future of sourcing?
